Free Knowledge: Free Education Software
When people think of education, this is often done in the classroom. There are some parents who choose to teach the child from the home then later on take entrance exams in high school or college to receive higher education.
The age of the computer has changed the way people can learn. Those who are not able to pursue a course in college because of the distance or have to work at the same time can still do so with distance education.
Free education software that is found in the internet is not a replacement for the things one learns in school. It merely serves as a supplement which can help student learn more and achieve better grades.
There are only a few schools that are aware of such a program. This is used in Germany, France and Italy. Can this work for the student? The answer is yes because there are a variety of subjects which may improve the person's IQ.
There are a lot of free education software to download. The first is called WordSmart. Those who don't read that often can still increase the word vocabulary by having this system in the computer. There are stories, exercises and quizzes which in one study showed this can improve the persons IQ from 20 to 40 points.
People who have problems in math can also learn from the sample problems and get better at it. The lessons are not only simple arithmetic but also deal with geometry and calculus that will surely help anyone in the grade school to the college level.
One of the subjects people have to excel to get a good job is in the sciences. There are also modules that deal with chemistry, physics and biology which will help the person know more than what is available in the textbook.
There are also programs for teachers which can help the individual prepare modules that are given in class. Though this approach may be different since some institutions prefer to use the recommended textbooks, this can give students the advantage of not just memorizing but understand each of the lessons given.
The nice thing about these education programs is that it is free. The only thing needed for this to work is a computer. If the system is compatible, the person can read the lessons and learning a few things from it.
The topics in any of the software can be updated. This means those who want to learn more will not be limited to a few drills and exercises that have been done before.
Education is important. This could mean the difference between earning a high paying job or working merely as blue collared worker. The decision to excel in school and in any other field is entirely up to the person since all the resources are already there.
The person should remember that free education software is not the solution to getting good grades. It merely serves as another venue to exercise the brain from the already existing reading and other instructional materials given in school.
The person doesn't have anything to lose from learning some more. This will all pay off in the end when the individual has that dream house and car from working on the books now and being rewarded with a great job.
