Answer #1:

I think it would be a great idea to have a pool party. If it's not warm in your area have it at a YMCA or other community center with an indoor pool. Then, you could also incorporate water games(who can jump the farthest/swim fastest?).

Answer #2:

Invite me!

Answer #3:

I think its really sweet you are going to all this effort. Bowling might be a tad expensive for all this kids, i find that a bit of a weird policy but anyway pizza sounds a good choice, don't know many kids that don't love pizza. As for the theme i guess the best thing is to call around places that are used to hosting parties and get some info and prices and what not, pick three options and let him choose, or if its a surprise discuss it with your husband...

Answer #4:

for my son's tenth, we had a super soaker party.
We told all the kids to bring their water guns and an extra shirt.
Dad was in charge of the hose, and we turned them loose in the yard.
They loved it.

Also, my son once attended a party held in an elementary school gym.
The parents brought the food, and the kids could run around, play basketball, etc., and it was easy to clean up the mess.

By the way, the school DOES NOT have the authority to tell you whom you can or can not invite to your home.

Answer #5:

You might want a party where they won't be in such close quarters 'cause he probably doesn't know them so well, maybe a carnival birthday out in the yard? You could serve things like pizza and popcorn, maybe cotton candy from a bag; have games like a bucket toss with inexpensive prizes, a gumball guess jar, and lawn bowling. You could also hold one at a local arcade.

Answer #6:
